AQUEDUCT HORSE COLONY NEW YORK, N Y., March 31.— About on« hundred and fifty horses wintered at Aqueduct. The stable of James Fitzsimmons, occupying two barns with thirty-nine horses, is the largest at the course. A. J. Golds-borough, W. S. House, Ed Heffner, J. Boden, E. Sietas, A. I,. Aste, II. I. Miller, F. Coleman, J. McDonald. I,. Blume, D. Douglass, J. S. Baldwin, .1. Campbell, W. A. Rosen and J. McNamara are others who kept their horses there. No sickness of any description has been reported to date. Stable No. 15, which was situated at the three-quarters post, burned down last week, but will be rebuilt in time for the opening of the spring meeting. There was no wind blowing at the time and no other damage was done. Charles J. Casey, who raced at New Orleans during the winter, paid a flying visit to Aqueduct last week. Mr. Casey reports that his stable shipped in good condition from the southern course to Bowie, where they will be raced during that meeting. Jockey Terry Wilson, who rode for the Seagram Stable over the Canadian circuit last summer, has reported to trainer James Boden and will ride for the Triple Springs Farm Stable this year. The stable will ship a division to Havre de Grace in charge of D. J. Kearney to race at that point.
