MASTER CHARLIE ON EDGE Gallops Mile and an Eighth at Fair Grounds in Good Time — Expected at Jamaica Friday. NEW ORLEANS, La.. April 15.— William Daniels Master Charlie, one of the winter favorites for the running of the Kentucky Derby, received his final work at the Fair Grounds track this morning and it was by far the most impressive trial recorded. With Derby weight up the son of Lord Archer— Bachelors Choice, was sent a mile and an eighth in 1:56%, and was eased up at the end. Master Charlie came out of the trial in splendid condition and cooled out nicely. Trainer Andy Blakely announced immediately after the work that the colt would be shipped to Jamaica, N. Y., and would arrive on Friday. Edward R. Bradley, who wit- j i nessed the trial, was greatly impressed with , the move.
