I STIMULUS NEW YORK. N. T , April 15. — Stimulus, the fast son of Tltlmus — Hurakan. which was expected to carry the colors of Marshall Field III., of Chicago, in the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs May 1C. has Injured a tendon and Is out of training as a result, it became known Wednesday. If the trouble yields to treatment the colt may be able to race again in a couple of months, but he is defnitely out of the Preakness and the Derby. Stimulus was Master Charlies chief rival for juvenile honors last season and he was one of the future choices for the Kentucky Derby. His preliminary training over the Belmont Park track during the past few weeks had gained him many friends and he was expected to be a strong factor in the decision of the Downs classic. The tendon which has forced the colt out of training is not bowed, but the injury is sufficiently serious to make training the horse practically an Impossibility.
