INSURANCE was lucky to esrape the crowding just after the start and was in a good position all the way and, coming fast after entering the stretch, outgamed LOVE SONG in a long drive. The latter waited on the pacemakers to the far turn, where she raced into the lead, but could not quite last long enough. BARDALID made up ground steadily after having a rough race. AIT REVOIR made up some ground in the last half. FULL O FUN was knocked about several times and never had a chance. HARRY MAXIM was far back to the last turn, from where he came with a rush on the inside and. slipping through a small opening, outfinished BRIMSTONE in a hard drive. The latter set a good pace, stayed well and finished gamely. SCATTER SHOT ran well and was ridden wide on all the turns, losing many lengths. MISS PROSPERITY moved up after leaving the back-stretch and made a game but futile effort to overhaul ALAMOUR. JAY ROBERTS raced prominently throughout. JOE PATTON had no mishaps. No serious effort was made with SWING-ALONG until inside the last eighth, where he came with a sensational rush and would have won in a few more striiles. DOMINIQUE ran well, but tired near the end. MISS NANTURA made up much ground on the outside. BOBBY ALLEN and RUBY suffered from frequent bumpings and HARRIGAN S HEIR was shut off.
