HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 22. G .M. Johnson claimed Freedoms Call out of the second race for ,500. J. W. Riley claimed Stay On out of the same race for ,500. It was ordered by the stewards that the further entry of the horse Advocate be refused. This action was taken on the report of Dr. McCarthy, the official veterinarian. Judge Thomas F. Meade was a late arrival from Broadway looking fit and ready after his long winter rest. Jockey K. Barnes was an arrival from Tijuana and reported to the Sam Ross stable, to which he is under contract for this year. W. R. Padgett ships his big band of platers from here direct to the Maple Heights course on Sunday. Mortimer Murphy, convalescent after an operation for tonsilitis, was a visitor at the course this afternoon. J. O. Burttschell has taken over the horses of T. W. OBrien, which are quartered at Pimlico at present, and at the conclusion of that meeting will be shipped to New York. Jockey Zucchini left for Columbus this morning. Miss Blaze was claimed out of the second race by Sam Louis for ,500. Gasper, Lester Doctor and Lucky Strike were all added to the schooling list as a result of bad behavior at the post. Jockeys Hudgins and Mozer were both suspended for three days by starter Milton for misbehavior at the post.
