April 22.— The Ohio State Derby with 0,000 added is the big feature of the Maple Heights meeting, which opens May 9 and con tinues to May 30 inclusive, a period of nineteen racing days. There will be seven or eight races daily with purses ranging from 00 to ,000 and a ,500 handicap on each of the four Saturdays during the meeting. The Ohio State Derby closes for entries on May 9 and will be run Saturday, May 23. |
