WOODBINE TURF NOTES TORONTO. Ont., April 22. William Walker and his string left Tijuana Saturday morning and are expected at Woodbine Fark about Friday. Oil Man, six-year-old son of North Star III,, and Bandello, has been acquired by the Thorncliffe Stable. The horse will be used for breeding purposes. Edward Flynn, who once handled the book of Jimmy Wallace, has a couple of promising young apprentices under his care. They are Pete Taulette and M. Caruso. Both youngsters appear to be smart, fearless pilots. The Canadian Racing Associations stallions will be moved this week and sent to their different standings. McNeil goes to J. Bar-vade at Brampton. The two matrons. Offering and Tiger Empress, belonging to J. E. Smallman, of London, will be sent to this sires court. Trainer "Jim" Smith is kept busy these days between the track and Riv-erdale Farm, where he expects the good mare. Gallant Foe, to present a foal from the stables sire, Roslyn.
