CHURCHILL DOWNS Latest Turf Notes From Famous Kentucky Track LOCISVILLE, Ky., May 2S. Woods Garth who succeeds John F. Schorr as the trainer for E. B. McLeans horses was an arrival this morning and conferred with Je,hn F. Schorr who is relinquishing the stable. Woods larth seemed considerably impressrel with the material turned over to him and made arrangements to ship the stable to Latonia next Sunday. John F. Schorr will take charge of the Jefferson Livingston horses Sunday. They will l»e shipped to New York. Jockeys N. Huff. F. Fuerst and James Mooney go with Schorr. Mooney will act as assistant trainer. Devon and Mally Jane, two promising two-year-olds will have to be retired for th jrss .hi account of injuries they sustained in their last start. T. J. II SI Sty advised track superintendent . nomas Young, that he was shipping v. j. Salmons Primrose here to start in the Kentucky Oaks next Saturday. .Ici.l ,ey W.
