REACH HAWTHORNE TRACK Kentucky Cardinal and Other OtherHorses Horses of Croissant Arrive From FromLatonia Latonia Mira Monte Stable in The pretentious stables of G Frank Crois1 sant and the Mira Monte Stock Farm arrived at Hawthorne yesterday for the meeting which opens on July 2 The shipment of the Croissant horses which came from Latonia j included practically everything except Belle i which was left over to run in a stake at La j tonia on Saturday Included in the string is the Derby colt Kentucky Cardinal which is going along all right again after a slight in j jury The others in the string are Gibbons Stanwix Sun Altos Jack Knife Ritter Dry Moon Scoop Spanish Name Sincere Purity i Quesada The Runt Chesterbrook Opulent I Uproar Bar Light Down Last Bankrupt and Colored Boy BoyThe The Mira Monte string includes the good handicap horses Phusla Etoile Du Quesnay Girl Scout Morning Cloud Freebooter Prince Ronald AH Baba Alborak Cytherea Drift 1 wood Blaze Scotland Forever Iron Mask 1 Rob Roy Slumber Song and Ninon NinonA A telegram was received from J W Healy in charge of the Bostwick horses and an ¬ nounced that six of the Bostwick horses would be shipped from New York Thursday night and will arrive here Saturday morn ¬ ing The remainder of the string will be J shipped early in the week The first division probably will include what is intended for j the Inaugural Handicap and will be accom ¬ panied by three of J G Wagnons horses 1 A letter was received from John Carey at Omaha stating that the Ben Jones string would be shipped Saturday night Word was also received at the track that Sanola last years queen of Hawthorne 1 would be a sure starter in the Inaugural Handicap which promises to attract a ban1 ner field Joseph McLennan the racing sccj retary will leaveMontrcal on Saturday night 1 and John Carey will leave Omaha at the same time Starter Miltons assistants are already on the ground and ho is expected any day now so that tho full compliment of of ¬ ficials except S C Nukols who will remain at Latonia for the close will be on hand by Monday or Tuesday of the following week
