April 51 —As has been indicated by the very generous number nominations made in the- stake eve-nts forj the spring meeting of the Fairmount Jockey Club. May 25» to July ."«. Fairmount Park is growing in popularity, and stable reservations made by the most prominent horse owneis assure the participation of many-high class horses throughout the thirty-two days of racing se-heduled. According to announcement made by C. Bruce Head, gen-ral manager, requests for stable room have been received and assignments made to a number of prominent owners, the- list including among others : J. B. Bespess. Highlanel Stoek Farm, Mrs. G. H. Abbott, Inte-rnational Stable, owned by II. G. Shimp of Chicago ; H. D. "Curly" Browns Shasta Farm, A. B. Hancock, Robert Si Clark of Xew York, J. X. Camden, Greentree Stable of Mrs. Payne Whitney, H. J. Macomber. Mira Monte Stock Farm, llarned Bros., Jones Stock Farm. J. O. and G. H. Keenes Keeneland Stud, J. P. Mills lyes-lie Stable. J. C. Milam, lv K. Major. C. W. Moore, T. C. Mc Howell, G. Frank Croissant. W. T. Andersons "hula Vista Farm. W. A. Reeds Baurel Park Stud, EL Teller Archibald and S. A. Cowan. C. C. Wright of Me-Beansboro, 111., has reserved stable room for nine head. Other locally owned stables to receive assignments include Dr. C. W. Crowley, five horses; Kirk Harringtons Florissant Farm, five horses ; August A. Busch. Jr.. the popular St. Bouis horse lover, has four horses, and Xugent Bros, have nine horses already at Fairmount Park. The Pueblo Stable of R. C. Thatcher, to which stable room for seventeen horses has been assigned, are now represented at fair-mount Park with four horses, including Billy Star and Time Kxposure. According to Mr. Head, stable room will be available only to those owners notified by the management that assignments have been made. Applications for stable room are being given every possible consideration, and all means will be exerted to accommodate the better class of horses, Mr. Head said. . — , — «
