■ w READY FOR HUNTS MEETING NEW YORK. N. Y.. April 21. Kwrything is in readiness for the two day meeting of the Inited Hunts Pacing Association at lhe Belmont Terminal on Saturda;. . Monday. April 24th and 26th respectively. The new stand has been cinnpli ted. the turf course rolled, and the brush and timb-r courses put in perfect condition. With fine weather, and a good program. Pr si b nt Bowman looks for a big crowd. Some of the best flat raeers in training will go to the post on the opening day in the Initial Handicap, of six furlongs, for which ,000 is added. The Biltmore Steeplechase of ll..OO. over about two miles of brush, will attract the jumpers. The features for Momlay are the Sporting Plate for two-year-olds at four and one-half furlongs, and the Cotton Exchange Steeplechase of ,500, at about two miles over the brush. The Sporting Plate is a subscription race. Three horses are named for each subscription of 01 on April 1st. and the one that is to start must be named to the clerk of the course five da s before the race. All monies go to the winner, while the Fnifed Hunts adds a piece of geld plate of a value of ,000.
