The horse may be taken up again in the fall and prepared for the Maryland meetings. Matt Brady has hopes of getting his old favorite Reparation back to the post. With this idea in view Reparation has been turned out and no attempt will be made to train again until next spring. George Senn. who at one time raced a stable of horses in partnership with the late Hughie Penny, is here from St. Louis, look-i ing for material to race at the Collinsville j meeting. It was Mr. Senns first visit to 1imlico in eleven years and he was busy ! during the afternoon greeting old friends. Among the horsemen and officials -quartered at the clubhouse this spring are: Frank J. Bryan, H. W. Maxwell. U. L. Pratt, R. J. Walden, J. EL Davis. T. J. Healey. C. R, | Fle:schmann, H. W. Sage. J. H. Lewis. R. Tuekcrman, Bayard Warren. A. G. Weston, Scott Harlan. G. W. Tompkins and A. H. Morris. Entries to the stakes offered oy the Ontario Joe-key Club to be run at Woodbine this spring closed today. A number of the owners racing here have already engaged cars for shipment from Pim.ico to Toronto. Bayard Tuc::erman was an arrival. A week ago last Saturday, while riding in the Maryland Hunt Club Hunt Race Tucker-mans mount fell and he sustained a broken collar bone. This did not stop him from packing his grip and going to Ix ng Island, where he rode a winner on the Monday following in the Belmont Terminal meeting. Mr. and Mrs. V. Ambrose Clark, who have been hunting in Hngland all winter, sailed on Saturday last so as to be here for a few days racing at Pimlico. The Clarks have not missed attending a meeting of the Maryland Joe-key Club in many years. It is understood that a division of the stable will he sent here to participate in the sport. According to reports that come from Can-i| ada. the-re will be no jumping races at either Ottawa or Blue Bonnets this year. R. Pending has disposed of Frank Furst to J. S. Bosley and Corfi to J. W. Magruder. R. E. Iotts scratched Lieutenant II. from the Chesapeake Handicap out of respect to the memory of his brother. J. W. Potts, who died this morning after a long illness. The entries that had been made for the Tuesday races were also ordered withdrawn. I-reddie Hopkins and Vincent Powers, who are here from New York, announced that the Grcentree Stable and Harry layne Whit- ney bosses would be shipped back and forth by van from New York to fill their engagements here during the meeting. Four of the Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark jumpers arc- now being shipped to Pimlico from New York. Jockey Mergler. recently n stored to good standing by the Kentucky Racing Commit-. sion, is here with the William Garth stable. i R. J. Thomas Clyde has transferred the horses that carried his color.-; and also the brood marcs he has at the Walden Farm at Middle- *;i.urg. Md.. to A. G. Weston.
