EXTENSION AT COLUMBUS Meeting at Beulah Park to toContinue Continue for Another Week Results of Saturdays Racing COLUMBUS Ohio May S The Beulah Park Jockey Club management has an ¬ nounced that the present meeting in operation at the Grove City course was extended for another six days The decision was reached sentatives of stables now quartered at Beulah Park In their petition the horsemen point out that due to the postponement of the Maple Heights meeting which was scheduled to commence today but which will not be held until July according to present plans they will be without a place to race for several weeks Therefore in deference to the request of the horsemen and patrons of the track for a few more racing days the meeting will be continued until Saturday May 15 15Voorflor Voorflor accounted for the third race after going around on the outside of the early leaders rounding the far turn and drawing out into an easy lead but was in danger near the end and was forced to do his best to stall off determined opposition from Erskine Dale when the latter finished going fastest of all on the outside of the winner at the end endShuffle Shuffle outstayed Brown Trout in a hard drive through the stretch and got up in the closing stride to win by a narrow margin in the second race Brown Trout saving much ground shook off Lamp Ward after the first quarter and drew out handily but could not stall off Shuffle near the end endIn In the initial offering at four and a half furlongs for the juveniles Kamakani and Am 1 Early dominated the running all the way Am I Early raced into a quick lead but was overtaken in the first quarter by Kamakani when the latter went around on the outside and drew out into a good lead then looked an easy winner entering the home stretch but was forced to do her best under extreme punishment when Am I Karly came again strongly next the inner rail in the closing stages Nestle outlasted The Wire for the third place
