PROMINENT KENTUCKY DERBY CANDIDATES Pompey champion twoyearold of last year has arrived at Churchill Downs and will be a sure starter in tne Kentucky Derby W R Coe his owner is confident that he will carry off the coveted prize Bubbling Over is the E R Bradley representative and hope of the West His recent remarkable showing in the Blue Grass Stakes leaves no room for doubt as to fitness and good judges predict that he is the horse to beat in the big race The third of the above trio is Canter which was rated almost on a par with Pompey as a twoyearold Despite his disappointing race in the Preakness Monday and two previous defeats this year Canter is being shipped to Kentucky and his owner 7 E Griffith and trainer Harry Rites hope to see him make amends by annexing the blue ribbon of the American turf
