DESTROY GELDING ALOPEX NEW ORLEANS. La.. March 31— Alopex. owned by A. Wertz, who claimed the gelding from the Flamingo Stable during the Fair Grounds meeting, broke his left hind leg while training at the Fair Grounds this morning and had to be destroyed. He wa.s a seven-year-old son of White Magic and A lope.
