r JEFFERSON PARK NOTES i — * MBW ORLEANS. La., March 31. W. U Bevy will take the horses St. Donard and Cobra to Maryland, where they will be turned out until fall. They are owned by G. P. Fought. M. McGonigle topped the riders in earnings for the past five racing days, with 52. L. Craver was second with 42, and R. Zucchini third, with 30. Apprentice W. Robinson made his debut as a rider astride Peggy O. in the final race today. Jockey D. Connelly resumed riding today after an absent e of several days occasioned by illness. The horse Porto de Oro was reported suffering with a slight fever and was excused from starting in the second race. Judge T. C. Bradley, who has been forced to absent himself from the stewards stand for several days because of illness, resumed his duties today.
