FIRE FAIRY took the lead on the last turn and came through on the inside when entering the stretch and wonld have won with a clear .oursc. A foul was claimed, but not allowed. ANNE MINOR ran a good race from the start and finished well. FRANK, away fast, was quickly outrun and tired in the final sixteenth.
