Former starter Jake Holtman will be in charge of these horses, which are expected Saturday. Wash Norvell, well-known racing official, looking hale and hearty, was a brief visitor in Chicago, on his way to Columbus, Ohit». where he will act in an official capacity at the approaching Beulah Park meeting, which opens April 16. C. Bruce Head, general manager of the Fairmount Park Jockey Club, is elated over the fine list of entries for the 1927 Fairmount Park Derby. The nominations will be published next Sunday. Clifford II. Trimble, general manager f the Exposition Park Jockey Club, at Aunir.i. is expecting the big shipment of horses from Tijuana to reach the Aurora track today. H. Teller Archibald, the Chicago candy manufacturer and sportsman, who spent the greater part of the winter at Miami, where he raced a division of his stable with marked success, is expected home shortly after a brief visit in Louisville, looking over his horses in training at Churchill Downs. Among the recent arrivals at Aurora were the horses belonging to W. W. Wright, which included Ocean Current, lYicemaker, Run-dark, Marsdale, Super King, Ballot Brush, and others. The Chicago owned Dearborn Stable, is another arrival at Aurora, in charge of former jockey C. Gross. This string includes Needl. Point, Sturdy Stella, Scoop, Tom I., Chaff and Eglatine. a
