CUBAN RACING PROSPECTS Outlook Exceptionally Bright for Great Meeting at Havana Next Winter. COLL.INSVILL.E, 111., June 15. Frank Baccipccd, for thirteen years the manager of the Havana-American Jockey Club at Havana, Cuba, was the guest of S. S. Gilmartin, manager of the certificates department I at Fairmount Park, today. Incidentally, Mr. Bacciocco visited with a number of the horse owners here, a number of whom have raced at Havana during past winters. These, without exception, assured Mr. Bacciocco of their intention to return to the Cuban capital this coming winter and several other owners who have never raced there indicated their intention of doing so this year. Mr. Bacciocco is enroute East after an extended visit in California, where he spnt some time on the Brown Shasta Farm as the guest of its owner, H. D. Brown, in a visit to the press box at Fairmount Park this afternoon Mr. Bacciocco complimented the splendid racing being provided the patrons of Fairmount Park. Particularly he commended the splendid arrangements of the plant and its beautiful natural setting. Concerning the prospects of racing in Cuba this winter, he is very enthusiastic. "I am convinced that the approaching winter season at Havana will be the greatest in the history of this famous winter resort," he said. Continuing, he added: "Every Indication points to the most successful racing1 season of the Havana-American Jockey Club. "We will have more high-class horses than even those of past successful years."
