CHARMARTEN. racing well in the going, raced into a good lead at once and won all the way. KEI.NOT HUM gamely through the lat quarter and was going fast at the end. STAMFORD had to be ridden hard in the stretch to outfinish MULLIGANS SON. The latter raced prominently to the last eighth, where he swerved badly, causing sharp interference to D. F. KELLY". The latter was tiring at the time after having raced in closest pursuit of the winner to the stretch turn. JOHN PEEL also suffered from some interference in the stretch. MATCHES ran fairly well. MAIDENS CHOICE raced into the lead at onie and was headed :n the stretch, then came gamely when hard ridden and. taking the lead again, ontfinished ULTIMEXICAN. The latter was away slowly and ra-ed wide, but closed a big gap and swerved sharpl.v in the stretch, but finished gamely while tiring. ROUND UP ran a good race and came fast through the last eighth. NOS REDNA closed a gap In the la-t quarter. BADGES FACE began tiring when rea-hing the stretch. The latter closed up ground and finished gamely and might have won with a stronger rider. ROCKY CLIFF ran a good race and was close up throughout. DR. LARKABEE had no mishaps. RETORT raced close up from the start and raced NICK CULLOP into defeat, but could not withstand BRILLIANT. NICK CULLOP tired after showing fine speed for a half mile. REFERENDUM finished gamely. KUBLAI KHAN began fast and. showing speed, hel d on gamely at the end. PRIDE worked his way up steadily and finished fast. NABISCO was taken back repeatedly, but began tiring after going three-quarters. CIMMERIAN tired.
