TURF KINO worked his way up steadily on the outside, responded to hard riding after entering the stretch and headed CARE FREE in the final drive. CARE FREE, close up from the start, took the lead and saved much ground when entering the stretch and made a game finish. TAMIAMI TRAIL began slowly, but improved his position well and finished fast. YIOI ET P.. raced close up all the way, but tired at the end. PLEDGE was crowded in the stretch. FEDONNA closed a big gap from a slow beginning. SANTROCK began flat footed. CENTRIFUGAL fell lame in the stretch. Won easily: second and third driving. GOLDEN VOLT showed the most speed nearly throughout, raced ACCOUNT into defeat and drew away into a safe lead to win easing up. MOSUL E moved up gamely on the inside after rounding the far turn and headed ACCOUNT, but could not reach the winner. ACCOUNT was much used in racing with the winner and tired near the end. SUN FORWARD lost ground when entering the stretch. COMET lacked early speed. KING JIMMY ran a poor race. ARCADE quit badly. MOCKEKY recovered quickly, but was forced to come to the outside and was wearing the winner down at the end. MEZZO moved up gamely after rounding the far turn, but tired when put to a drive.
