Ky„ May 26— Jake Lowen-stein, acting: for Morris Velion, Chicago sportsman and owner of the lloyal Stable, today acquired at private terms from James MeGee, the useful race mare Mally Jane. She has been taken over by Lowenstein and is intended for campaigning over the Chicago tracks. Bt-fore acquiring Mally Jane. Lowenstein made vain endeavor to purchase Marconi from M. Uoidblatt.
