4 C. J. FITZGERALDS PLANS TORONTO, Ont., May 2G.— C. J. Fitzgerald made a hurried departure for New York after the running of the seventh race. Later on he will leave for Kentucky, to look over some stallions and brood mares for a patron who has commissioned him to purchase several of the best brood mares obtainable. Mr. Fitzgerald will be back at Woodbine Park for the September meeting. He has a friendly feeling for the Ontario Jockey Club, for it was here that he first filled ah official position, when he did the starting back in 1802. At the conclusion of the Woodbine Park meeting next fall, he will leave for England to attend the Doneastcr sales.
