LONDON ROCK raced forwardly on the insde from the etart and raced gamely in the final drive. EATON DEN raced prominently to the stretch, where he began tiring, but outfinished F.OWI.ER. The latter saved ground in the final three eighths. PANDEMONIUM had a rough trip. MAYOR WALKER and LA PALOMA were crowded back soon after the start. RHLNOCK, raced on the inside and in the deepest gi.ing throughout, made a game rush in the final quarter and was g.ing r.solutely in the final drive. HANDY MANDY c!o ed a gap and finished fast. MIKE HALL moved up on the last turn and tire-d in the last eighth. GENIAL HOST ran poorly. HELENS BABH showed early speed, but was done after going three -quarters.
