SPINACH OUT OF DERBY AND PREAKNESS STAKES NEW YORK N Y May 3 Wil ¬ liam Ziegler Jrs Spinach is definitely out of both the Preakness Stakes and the Kentucky Derby for which lie was being pointed by W J Speirs Vhen the colt ran so poorly in the Wood Memorial Stakes which was won eas ¬ ily by Gallant Fox it was generally agreed that he would have little chance in the big races Now Speirs has reported that Spinach came out of the Wood Memorial so badly hurt that he has not since been on the track and for that reason he was forced out of these big races
