CROPTON AURORA VISITOR AURORA 111 May 9 James N Crofton general manager of Agua Caliente was a visitor at Aurora Thursday afternoon and witnessed a race from the stewards stand Mr Crofton has been on a visit to eastern tracks and is en route to Agua Caliente where the summer meeting gets under way July 4 He stated that he expects between 600 and 700 horses to take part in the sum ¬ mer meeting C B Irwin who is repre ¬ senting the Lower California track at Aurora will get together a special horse train which will leave for the west at the conclusion of the Exposition Park meeting
