ENTERTAINMENT PLANS FOR EARL OF DERBY LOUISVILLE Ky May 9 Edward George Villers Stanley the seventeenth Earl of Derby will come to Kentucky next Thurs ¬ day as the guest of Joseph E Widener of Philadelphia The earls party will visit the breeding farms of the Blue Grass section and will be entertained at luncheon at Mr Wide ners Elmendorf Farm near Lexington LexingtonFormer Former United States Senator J N Cam den chairman of the board of the American Turf Association Avill entertain the party Friday at luncheon at his Spring Hill Farm near Versailles after which they will come to Louisville as the guests of Colonel Winn president of the American Turf Association A suite of rooms has been reserved for them at the Brown Hotel HotelColonel Colonel Winn will give a dinner in honor of the Earl of Derby and his party at the Pendennis Club at 8 30 oclock Friday eve ¬ ning Imitations will be limited to directors of the American Turf Association and its allied organization Churchill Downs Latonia Lexington Washington Park and Lincoln Fields members of the racing commissions of Kentucky Illinois New York and Mary ¬ land and the party Avill also include leading racing personages of America AmericaGov Gov Flem D Sampson Avill make a brief address at the dinner Avelcoming the Earl of Dermy to Kentucky and Mayor William B Harrison of Louisville Avill tender the freedom of the city cityOn On Derby Day the earl and his party Avill be guests of Colonel Winn at Churchill Downs and special arrangements haAe been made for their entertainment The earl Avill present the gold cup to the OAvner of the Avinner of the Derby DerbySamuel Samuel A Culbertson president of Churchill Downs Avill give a breakfast for the Earl of Derby and his party in the club house at Churchill Downs on Derby morning
