WISE ANNE dwelt slightly at the start, escaped interference, then raced straight when clear and easily held the others safe. IREDELL, bumped at the start, raced well when clear. SINGLE KAY began slowly and, forced back early, was then taken to the outside and, gradually improving his position, would have won in another stride.
