GRANDSTAND FOR HIRED HELP MIAMI, Fla., Jan. 16. The grooms and stable lads held a meeting Saturday morning and appointed a committee to wait on the management to ask that they be permitted to view the running of the races. John Bright and J. S. Wallace went into conference with the committee and informed these gentlemen that all grooms and stable hands would be admitted into a space opposite- the furlong post, where an unobstructed view of the races could be had. The stable hands refused to accept this offer and demanded that they be admitted to the grandstand. An agreement was finally arrived at where the stable hands would be admitted to the enclosure opposite the furlong post. A small grandstand will be erected on this part of the enclosure for their accommodation.
