AGUA CALIENTE NOTES - "Word was received today that Willard Macks Satin Spar, which made quite a name for himself during the past winter and carried his good form to Chicago tracks this summer, had been declared out of the Agua Caliente Handicap. He is at present resting at Al Jones San Ysidro ranch. Bonaire and Rockhawk, the property of E. Rollins, were arrivals from Tanforan. The distance horse Searington, belonging to J. Coffey, also got in. Ervast, the star of the Baron Long stable, is still suffering from an injured foot and will not be seen in action for some time. A. A. Baroni, prominent horseman, is reported to be seriously ill of pneumonia in a Reno hospital. Joe Solari, well known bookmakers clerk, who has been employed at Agua Caliente for the past few seasons, suffered a heart attack which caused his death Tuesday evening. He was a native of San Francisco, where his remains were sent for interment.
