DENIES MUTUEL RUMOR NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 18. Reports that he contemplated installing dollar mutuels at the Dorval Park track this season, were denied by Leo Dandurand, one of the principal stockholders in that dominion track and a visitor here. "My experience with dollar betting at Connaught Park last June was most unsatisfactory, and we never considered adoption of dollar tickets for Dorval Park or other of the tracks in which I am interested," he stated. Mr. Dandurand managed, the Connaught Park track the past year, and in addition to dollar mutuel tickets, which were sold from three wickets, he introduced the dailv double, or two-race combination, during the June meeting at that course.
