SUNDAYS CHARITY PROGRAM NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 19. Conditions for the eight races to be run Sunday, charity day, at Jefferson Park, were announced today by Julius G. Reeder, racing secretary at that course. The Welfare Day Handicap, the principal race, is open to three-year-olds and over, and the distance will be a mile and seventy yards. Reeder is closing entries for this ,000 event Friday, and announcement of weights will be made early Saturday. Some of the best of the handicap division are assured for this race, and the starting field may compare with the best of the winter. Some of the probable acceptances are Wotan, Playtime, Mine Sweeper, Gettin Even, Nyack, Bargello, Spanish PJay, Eton-ardo, Fiddler and others.
