WINTER TRACK HORSES ARRIVE Vanguard of Miami Shipments Reach Jamaica Martin and Gibson String From Freehold, N. J. NEW YORK, N. Y., March 22. Horaei from winter racing grounds and wintci quarters are arriving daily at the Long Island tracks. Among the newcomers today at Jamaica was John Zoeller, with eight horses owned by the Pinetrce Farm. Thes campaigners, which raced at Oriental Park and Tropical Park, were shipped from tho latter course after the meeting ended last Saturday and were unjoaded in first class condition. Honey Grove, Regal Flag, Chiefs Troubadour, Howee, Wrack Royal, Newsreel, Dr. Ed Scott and Chilly Maid were in Zoel-lers consignment. Among the hibernators at Freehold, N. J., to unload at tho Aqueduct course were tho horses of T. E. Martin and A. Gibson. Martins string, In charge of his assistant T. Waite, comprised two horses. These are Sea-saint, a three-year-old filly, by St. James Armada, and Hagerson, a three-year-old gelding, by Sun Briar Hathor. Both of these racers have grown and filled out into good looking prospects that should more than pay their way in the plater division. Trainer A. Gibson brought the four-year-old filly Dark Nun. From Red Bank, N. J., where they were wintered, came the horses of the Woodlawn Stable, in charge of F. E. Freakes. Four three-year-olds and three juveniles comprised the shipment which was assigned stalls at Aqueduct. Cocked Hat, Easter Medal, Upturn and Sunwood made up the older division. The juveniles, a good looking band, are Gay Time, a black filly by High Time Carrie Hogan; Wild Papoose, a chestnut daughter of Waygood The Dove, and an unnamed brown colt, by Dis Done Common Law. The colt is well built, with great depth through the heart.
