EQUIPOISE STABLED j I AT ARLINGTON PARK I NEW YORK, N. Y., June 25. Fred Hopkins, second trainer for C. V. Whitney, and developer of the champion Equipoise in that strong stable, shipped the great four-, year-old to Arlington Park, Chicago, Friday. It is planned to start the son of Pennant in a condition race at the Chicago course Thursday and it will be a final for his engagement in the Stars and Stripes Handicap, to be run July 4. Equipoise had for his traveling mates Fall Apple, Redress, Volette, Cresta Run and Gyro. The string will be campaigned through the Arlington Park meeting and be moved from there to Saratoga Springs. "Sonny" Workman will go to Chicago to ride Equipoise in his engagements. He will also ride those that T. J. Healey will have in his care from the first string, which will be campaigned in Chicago. Of these naturally Top Flight is the star and she is being pointed for the Arlington Oaks.
