LUNA MICA, hard ridden and forced to race on the outside for a mile, saved ground in tho stretch and finished gamely. GALA TIME circled tho others and closed stoutly. STEPSISTER could not threaten the leaders. CORRYMEELA and FLUFFY LEE raced themselves into defeat. ETERNAL MAID, showed early speed. RUSH HOUR, shuffled back and. crowded for three-eighths, worked his way up and finished fast. WISE ANNE, hard ridden while racing with WAVE ON, moved into a brief lead while saving ground, but tired suddenly near the end. WAVE ON raced gamely throughout. GUARDIAN closed fast on tho outside. TRACE CALL finished with a belated, rush. SWINHAVEN also closed a gap. PEACOCK BLUE tired after being in close quarters early. SUPREME SWEET tired fast after five-eighths. EQUIPOISE lacked speed at the start and, kept under hard urging, was unable to threaten at any stage.
