The latter saved cround throughout and could not overtake the winner. SIS AGNES had no mishaps. PRINCE FARTHING dropped back near the stretch. ABE FURST raced poorly from a slow start. ANGON BRIDGE, probably best but impeded at the start, was taken to the inside on the turn and closed with a rush. FIGHTING BOB had no mishaps. EVEN PLAY was under strong urging from the start. NAVANOD, slow to begin, lost ground, closed stoutly and headed SPECKLE in the final strides. The latter, a strong factor throughout, weakened in the final drive. YARNALLTON had no mishaps. HIGH STORM had early speed and raced wide in the final half mile. THISTLE WISE was outrun. PRINCE WESTEND dropped out of it after five eighths, showing a dull effort.
