EPSOM DERBY PROSPECTUS Likely Starters in Englands Great Race; Three American-Owned Entries May Go to Post. LONDON, Eng., May 23. As Derby Day draws near it is more the rule than the exception to find sharp changes in the future betting on the great race. The reinstatement of Lord Derbys Hyperion as first choice at 15 to 2 at last nights callover of the Derby card at the Victoria Club caused little surprise. Hyperion, rated second best of the juvenile colts last year, recently won the Chester Vase at one mile and a half, giving twelve pounds and a three lengths beating to Myosotis, which horse Saturday won the mile and a half Derby Trial Stakes at Lingfield Park, scoring in a thrilling finish by a head over Lord Derbys Thrap-ston and the Aga Khans Gino. Lord Woolavingtons Manitoba, ousted first choice, is now second in demand at 10 to 1, while at 12 to 1 the French invader Rodosto, winner of the Two Thousand Guineas, remains a firm third choice, with a fractional call over the Newmarket Stakes victor, Young Lover, Sir Alfred Butts horse being supported at 100 to 8. Sir Hugo Cunliffe Owens King Calmon was also firm at his previous price of 100 to 7, while William Barnetts Harinero and E. Marshalls Happy Call were supported at 20 to 1. The Aga Khans Gino appealed slightly after his forward showing in the Lingfield Derby trial, dropping to 28 to 1, the odds also quoted against Lord Durhams Scarlet Tiger. Victor Emanuels Statesman, which horse failed to impress in the Derby trial, was offered at 33 to 1, as was Major Behrens Light Sussex. The Aga Khans Felicitation and Edward Esmonds Interlace were listed at 40 to 1, while at 50 to 1 Sir Abe Baileys Raymond had some support. The probable Epsom Derby starters follow: Horse. Owner.
