DOMINO PLAYER showed good speed, saved ground throughout and tired badly in the closing eighth. ALBANE, a strong factor from the start, raced wide and tired in the closing sixteenth. OUT BOUND raced wide throughout and, responding to strong hand riding in the final quarter, wore down MERRY CHATTER and drew away fast. The latter, hustled along from the start, swerved out in the stretch, but held on stubbornly. STREET SINGER showed speed, but was blocked by the two leaders near the final eighth and held on fairly well when clear, MRS. LET lost ground and tired under pressure. UNCLE HENRY, weakly ridden and taken back repeatedly, could not reach the leaders. HAMILTON showed flashes of speed. NORTHGALIS had no mishaps. ONDOTT began slowly. TWISTED THREADS, sent up with a rush leaving the back stretch and steadied along on the lower turn, look command quickly in the stretch and held WHITE LEGS safe. The latter improved his position fast on the far turn and held on gamely, but was overmatched. SERGEANT D. began fast, was taken back leaving tha back stretch and was weakly ridden near the end. VOLTA MAID, under mild restraint for half a mile, worked her way to the front slowly, bore over crowding back HERNANDO when nearing the final sixteenth and outstayed BURNING UP. The latter had to lose round much of the trip, fell back after reaching the final eighth, but came again near the end. GRAND f RINCE, squeezed back on the far turn, stood pressure gamely and approached the finish in close quarters. JIYMAN closed strongest. HERNANDO raced ALPERS into submission and was tiring when forced back by the winner, but, escaping the interference, would have been closer up. BONNY MAUREEN lost ground. ALPERS quit badly. MINTON, never far back, responded to pressure,-but met interference from the winner at the end. MR. SPONGE, allowed to drop out of it and raced wide throughout, closed strongly and, under a better judged ride, might have won. BAMBOULA dropped back on the turn, but held on well in the stretch. INDIAN RUNNER, away fast and rated along for five-eighths, slowly raced around EVERGOLD entering the stretch and tired badly under his impost, but lasted. AT TOP, slow to get going and far back for five-eighths, improved her position fast on the .stretch turn, and was wearing down the winner. POLYDORUS, forced back by CAMP DOUGLAS entering the back stretch, bore out badly on the far turn and, after making up much ground in the stretch, finished fastest. CAMP DOUGLAS lost ground throughout. EVERGOLD was used up making the pace and quit in the stretch. CATHOP tired when hard urged. KARL EITEL quit. SANDWRACK held on gamely. GRAMARYE was slow to get going, raced wide throughout and stood the drive gamely. YONKEL, far back for three-quarters, responded when called on, but became trapped in close quarters when entering "the stretch and had, little chance thereafter. RENEWED quit. The latter, ajlowed to drop out of it, responded stoutly to hand riding and was going boldly at the end. BLUE LAW worked his way up with a big loss of ground and was inclined to bear out in the late stages. ANNIMESSIC, cleverly ridden, challenged gamely after reaching the stretcn, then faltered.
