t FOREIGN TURF NOTES $ : : Lord Glanelys Buckleigh, a colt by San-1 sovino Surbine, by Bachelors Double; won the Craven Stakes, one of the important English Spring fixtures. Buckleigh was a surprise winner for his owner and trainer as well as the public, the colt being so little thought of that he was withdrawn from the Epsom Derby and St. Leger. However, he remains eligible for the Two, Thousand Guineas. Bahram and Bosleigh, first and second, choices for the Epsom Derby, are reported1 working well at Newmarket. Lord Glanely has a promising three-year-old in Screamer, a son of Beresford Saxham Cat, which on April 9 carried off the Spring Three-Year-Old Stakes, at one mile and a, quarter. Screamer ran a most impressive race and is expected to improve for his more important engagements.
