BOBS PLAY MONTREAL WINNER Triumphs in Second Start in Canada Queens Hotel Cup Heads HeadsBlue Blue Bonnets Card MONTREAL Que June 7 Bobs Play racing for F Coe and making his second start since arriving in Canada from Ohio raced to victory in the fifth event the Queens Hotel Cup feature of the semi ¬ final days program at the Blue Bonnets course of the Montreal Jockey Club ClubA A length and onehalf back came Mrs C Marchs Surly winner of her last effort a head in advance of L Dandurands Baim wawa Pot au Mint Tidaholm Hasola and Top Hattie completed the field and finished in the order named Jockey F Case was astride the winner which ran the mile in 146 over a slow track trackAnother Another good crowd was on hand for the sport which was decided under dull skies with rain falling for the first three races The manager of the Queens Hotel presented the winning owner with a silver cup cupThe The field got away in good order with Surly taking the lead a short head in ad ¬ vance of Bobs Play The two raced head and head all through the back stretch and around the far turn and well into the stretch It was not until the last furlong was reached that Surly began to tire and Bobs Play took command and drawing away in the last seventy yards had a length and onehalf advantage as the finish line was reached Surly tired badly and just managed to stall off Baimwawa for the second posi ¬ tion The latter was away back in the early stages and coming with a rush through the final quarter mile was going fast at the end
