SPECTACULAR WORKOUT BY WAR ADMIRAL AT LAUREL LAUREL Md Oct 22 The progress of Samuel D Riddles War Admiral for his match race with Seabiscuit on Tuesday November 1 advanced considerably at Pim lico at 1020 A M Saturday when the four yearold Man o War Brush Up colt worked a mile and oneeighth in near track record time of 153 for a mile and one furlong and was waved down as his trainer George Conway and Mr Riddle witnessed the im ¬ pressive trial trialWith With Jockey Charles Kurtsinger in the saddle the Mighty Atom broke from the furlong post and was caught in the following fractions 11 23 36 49 102 114 126 140 140Charles Charles S Howards Seabiscuit was on the track at an earlier hour and was permitted to gallop a slow mile for a more important workout which is scheduled for Sunday af ¬ ternoon Owner Howard jockey Woolf and Tom Smith watched the work of War Ad ¬ miral after Seabiscuit was cooled out and placed away
