BREEDERS FAVOR LIMITATION Post Card Poll Among Califorriians CaliforriiansShows Shows Approval of Barring BarringJuveniles Juveniles Until May 1 SAN MATEO Calif Oct 31 A recent post card questionnaire issued by Messrs Neil McCarthy and Edwin Janss Jr to all breeders in California asked whether they approved the action of the California Horse Racing Board in barring the racing of two yearolds prior to May 1 of any year The board originally made this ruling upon the recommendation of the directors of the California Breeders Association AssociationIt It was felt however in some quarters that the breeders association in making this rec ¬ ommendation did not have the support of many individual breeders breedersThe The result of the independent poll con ¬ ducted by Messrs Janss and McCarthy shows an overwhelming approval of the present ruling by a majority of better than 2 to 1 This means the present ruling stands
