at the head of the stretch the son of Sun Briar and Polly Egret reached the wire two lengths before the Millsdale Stables Mower MowerA A hot contest developed for the place award with Mower getting it by a nose over W F Morgans The Fighter and G Rings Lady Maryland which finished in a dead heat for third money Inches back of them came Benjam and Accolade The dead heat was the second of the day Romaunt and Lackawanna divided first honors in the third racej racejAs As clear cool weather prevailed Pimlico was very calm in comparison with yester ¬ day and the 8000 persons had their minds solely
