MEN TEACHERS INCREASE WASHINGTON D C July 20 A govern ¬ ment survey covering the years from 1934 to 1936 inclusive the latest full report on edu ¬ cation in this country shows that there are 266000 male teachers working at their pro ¬ fession This number comprises 25 per cent of the total number of teachers In 1900 it was estimated that 32 per cent of the teach ¬ ers were men but this percentage fell to 18 per cent in 1920
