TWO RIDERS LOSE LICENSES E DeCamillas V Nodarse Banned Bannedby by Jockey Club Violated ViolatedRules Rules of Racing1 NEW YORK N Y July 21 Alleged in ¬ fractions of a serious nature resulted yes ¬ terday in revocation of Eddie DeCamillas and Vincento Nodarses licenses to ride on courses within the jurisdiction of The Jockey Club ClubDeCamillas DeCamillas was charged with using a sharppointed instrument probably a sharp ¬ ened nail on F L Moores Elwawa winner of the first race at Empire City on Wednes ¬ day The rules of racing prohibit the use of any instrument other than whip and spurs on a horse Indications that the rules had been violated by DeCamillas were de ¬ tected by Dr J G Catlett supervisor of saliva tests and chief veterinarian for the New York State Racing Commission while taking a specimen of Elwawas saliva after the race in question questionDr Dr Catlett reported to the stewards that Elwawa came out of the race with scratches on his neck deep enough to produce bleed ¬ ing DeCamillas denied to the stewards that he had inflicted the wounds and that he had used any proscribed instrument on the horse If such an instrument was used it has not been found by the racing officials or their investigators investigatorsUNSATISFACTORY UNSATISFACTORY RIDE RIDENodarse Nodarse lost his license as a result of a ride on Charlotte Girl at Aqueduct on July 1 that was unsatisfactory to the stewards of the meeting In the race which was won by The Wind Charlotte Girl owned by El wood Sachsenmaier and trained by Phil Reuter opened favorite at even money and closed at 7 to 5 She finished third beaten two heads for top money moneySince Since The Jockey Club rulings are recog ¬ nized and respected by race tracks through ¬ out the country revocation of their licenses in New York means that DeCamillas and Nodarse will be barred from riding at all tracks The announcement from The Jockey Club signed by Algernon Daingerfield sec ¬ retary follows At a meeting of the stewards of The Jockey Club held this day Friday July 21 various jockeys and trainers licenses were granted routine business was transacted and the jockey license of Eddie DeCamillas was revoked and he was denied admission to all race courses under the jurisdiction The Jockey Club ClubThe The jockey license of Vincento Nodarse was revoked and he was denied admission to all race courses under the jurisdiction of the Jockey Club
