AMERICAN LEGION STAGES SUCCESSFUL SPORT SHOW SHOWNorth North Shore Post No 21 of the American Legion held its ninth annual sport show last evening at the Broadway Armory with a crowd of 4000 in attendance The program consisted of sis sparkling boxing bouts three wrestling matches and entertainment by a bevy of beauties from Chicagos leading night clubs Many celebrities of the sporting world were guests including Sheldon Clark chairman of the Illinois State Boxing Com ¬ mission Tony Zale middleweight champion1 Milt Aron leading challenger for the middle ¬ weight title and members of the Chicagp Cubs baseball team Larry French Claude Passeau Bob McCullough Lou Stringer Bob Sturgeon Charley Root Wimpy Quinn Lou Novikoff Charles George Jake Mooty and the genial Andy Lotshaw Jockeys Bill Lowe and Buddy Vail were also guests
