OVER FIFTY MARYLAND STABLES TO DELAWARE DELAWAREThirtyThree ThirtyThree of Old Line State Establishments Have Numerous Horses Nominated for Stakes StakesWILMINGTON WILMINGTON Del May 21 Delaware Parks thirtyday meeting which begins on May 30 is going to be weir supported by the Maryland horsemen according to Edward J Brennan racing secretary for the plant near Wilmington WilmingtonMore More than fifty prominent racing estab ¬ lishments from the Old Line State will cam ¬ paign their horses at Delaware Park and no less than thirtythree of these stables have nominated some of their charges to the list of stakes which Delaware will offer offerIn In many instances horses to be cam ¬ paigned at Delaware now are being rested and freshened up from their six weeks of racing at Bowie Havre de Grace and Pim lico Some of the stables are now racing in New York New England or at Charles Town and in one or two instances larger outfits will be divided with one division go ¬ ing to Delaware Ella K Bryson of Kingsville probably has been the most liberal of Marylands owners in nominating for stakes She has Clyde Tolson Cis Marion Cavalier and Elayride for her older starters while eight twoyearolds will carry her colors This group includes Joe Ray already a double stakes winner winnerSPEEDY SPEEDY JUVENILES JUVENILESSylvester Sylvester W Labrot Jr has four young ¬ sters in the twoyearold stakes including Sunset Boy a winner and Henry A Parr III treasurer of the Maryland Jockey Club will be represented by a couple of speedy juveniles in The Killer and Frustration FrustrationThe The Christmas family of Upper Marlboro is well represented on the stakes lists Mr and Mrs J Yancey Christmas having named Flough Time and Rough Pass while B Frank Christmas has nominated Here Goes GoesChester Chester F Hockley chairman of the Mary and Racing Commission Stuart S Janney Jr noted amateur rider Karl B Kolseth former ball player Leslie E Keiffer master of Iverness Farm Breckinridge Long whose place is near Laurel Robert J Walden of Middleburg Mrs Veader Leonard of Balti ¬ more a newcomer to racing and J W Y Martin Worthington Valley sportsman are others who will be on hand at Delaware DelawareMrs Mrs Henry Hecht wife of the department store executive Walter Wickes F G Hack ¬ ney Mrs Van Lear Black S Bryce Wing Mrs N K Beal Mrs E Carver Mrs Victor P Noyes H L Straus Paul B Codd Mrs R H Heighe Mrs E C Eastwood J H Stotler L B Steele Howard Bruce and H Guy Bedwell are others scheduled to have their colors in action actionSIZABLE SIZABLE STABLES STABLESIn In addition to the stables which have stakes performers for the Wilmington ses ¬ sion Brennan reports that several other prominent stables will be represented with sizable strings to help fill the daily programs programsThis This group includes H M Babylon John Bosley C T Chenery Bobbie Curran Mrs W H Denham Watson Elliott J H C Forbes G C Greer Mrs Henry S Hork heimer G C Brenton O S Jennings Her ¬ bert Kerr Mrs Marie Knieriem Knollwood Stable Harry Neusteter George Perry and Grant Thorn ThornDespite Despite the size of the Delaware Park stabling area Brennan and Gil Haus who is representing him on the grounds are having trouble accommodating all those who wish to race during the thirty days beginning Decoration Day
