CHALLEDON ON MAIN TRACK TRACKINGLEWOOD INGLEWOOD Calif May 21 Chal ledon William L Branns twotime handicap champion the other morning made his first appearance on the Holly ¬ wood Park main track since he won the Gold Cup last summer The son of Chal ¬ lenger II has been under light training for some time but thus far his exercises have been confined to the training track When he brought the horse onto the main course trainer L T Whitehill ob ¬ served wish he was as good as he was the last time he was on this track Challedon was shipped east immediately after his Gold Cup triumph last year
