KENNY GATE FOR HAMILTON HAMILTONHAMILTON HAMILTON Ohio June 20 The Kenny starting gate used at the recent Beulah spring meeting will be employed during the nineteenday meeting which gets under way here June 28 Chief features of the gate which was invented by Kenneth Goodman 27yearold Columbus electrical engineer are electricmagnetic locks which contain no moving parts the gates are opened by re ¬ leasing the current rather than applying it the gates are set at an acute angle so as to make it impossible for horses to face in any direction other than straight forward in their stalls and heavy padding on the sides with airfoam cushions
