ALFRED ROBERTSON WILL RIDE AT ARLINGTON PARK PARKFirst First of Eastern Jockeys to Register for Meeting MeetingAlfred Alfred Robertson famous jockey who for ¬ merly rode for Mrs Ethel V Mars Milky Way Farm stable and one of the greatest favorites at Arlington Park in former years is the first of the eastern contingent of riderd to register for the Arlington Park meeting which opens Monday MondayRobertson Robertson in his letter of registration hinted that he expected to be very much iii the running for the Arlington jockey prizes These total 3500 and are divided between riders and apprentices The leading ridej and apprentice for the first seventeen dayg will receive 5500 each second in each divi sion 250 and third 125 each The same division of the award applies to the last seventeen days of the meeting meetingRobby Robby has been riding in the East and is expected here for the opening day Already practically all the leading riders and apprentices who have been campaigning on Illinois tracks this summer have requested locker space from Irish OBoyle custodian of the jockey quarters at Arlington Park These include such veterans as W Yarberry P Mills C Critchfield J G Wilson S Brooks J Adams Jack Richard R Bohn K McCombs Earl Pool and Willie Garner as well as such promising apprentices as J Berger L Haskell W Borton D Mao Andrew and B Cruickshank CruickshankNew New jockey quarters will greet the saddlq stars when they unpack their tack at th0 North Side course Every possible effort and convenience has been provided for these tiny men of the turf
